Once you are 15

Your rights once you are 15 years old.

Film Classifications

You can see a 15-rated film at the cinema. You can rent or buy a 15-rated video.

Legal Issues

If you are convicted of a crime and what you did is so serious that only a custodial (prison) sentence is justified or needed to protect the public from you, you can be sentenced to detention or a training order for up to two years. Half will be spent in a young offenders institution and half on supervision in the community. If the crime is murder or one of similar seriousness you may be held longer.
