How BigVoice happened

How the site happened.

Thanks to James, Jael, Tia, Julian, Kat for coming to a lot of meetings and giving their time, ideas, skills and creativity to getting BigVoice off the ground and into cyber world.

Thanks to Lucy, Chris and Jo for their work on the BigVoiceOxfordshire logo.

James says:

"5 young people who all live around the county of Oxfordshire formed this site. It was laid out in 2007 when lots of adults who work for the council and other places that work with children and young people put together what they needed from a Children’s Rights and Participation website.

Work began at the end of the year. The work finally started in 2008 with physical views possible and the protype was built. The site is now nearing completion and has taken many months and time of young people to perfect this site.

We worked out what information needed to go on the site, what sort of colours and look the site needed (but within the template), choosing photo’s and working with a designer to get the BigVoice logo done. We also planned the launch party and publicity merchandise."
