Free Children's Rights Training

CRAE You've got the Right logo

Do you go to a youth club or group and want to know more about children and young people's rights? The Children's Rights Alliance is offering 20 free local training sessions to children and young people about their rights.

What do they do?

Children's Rights Alliance for England (CRAE) has lots of experience of delivering innovative and popular training to children and young people across England about their rights and how they can take action.

Their training sessions are hosted by local organisations working with, or offering space to, children and young people (like youth groups, children’s homes and schools) and delivered by CRAE staff.

This year CRAE are inviting local lawyers to join in the training sessions by talking to children and young people about when they may need advice or representation from a lawyer, and how to go about getting it.

CRAE are offering 20 of these new children’s rights training sessions free to groups, , focusing on children and young people who are more likely to face barriers – children with disabilities, those in conflict with the law, refugee and asylum seeking children, children living in poor areas and under-10s.

If you are a child or young person in England, and you go to a youth club, youth group, or project, talk to an adult there about this training. Ask them if they can help host a training session - it's easy.

Contact Krishna Maroo or download our Children’s Rights Training flyer to express your interest or find out more.

Payment

The training session is free.
